YoucanuseRASMtoupgradeordowngradethesystemimage(MSSsoftware)onRoamAbout
Switches.SystemimagesincludeswitchsoftwareandAPsoftware.
Using the Image Repository
UsetheimagerepositorytoaddordeleteRoamAboutSwitchsystemimages.Theimagefileis
checkedanditsversionisverifiedwhenaddedtotheimagerepository.Imagesarestoredinthe
RASM_installation_directory\images\dpdirectory.
Adding a System Image
Toaddasystemimage:
1. SelecttheDevicestoolbaroption.
2. AtthebottomoftheTaskListpanel,selectDeviceOperations.
3. IntheTaskListpanel,selectImageRepository.
4. ClickAddImage.TheAddtoRepositorydialogboxappears.
5. Navigatetothedirectorycontainingthesystemimage.
6. Selectthesystemimage.
7. ClickAdd
toRepository.Theimageisaddedtotheimagerepositoryandappearsinthe
ImageList.
8. ToclosetheImageRepositorydialogbox,clickClose.
Deleting a System Image
Todeleteasystemimage:
1. IntheImageRepositorydialogbox,selecttheimageyouwanttodelete.
2. ClickRemoveImage.Aprompt appears.
3. ClickYestodeletethesystemimage.
4. ToclosetheImageRepositorydialogbox,clickClose.
