Scheduling Deployment of Local Changes
Toscheduledeploymentoflocalchanges:
1. SelecttheDevicestoolbaroption.
2. AtthebottomoftheTaskListpanel,selectChangeManagement.
3. SelectoneormoreRoamAboutSwitches.
Toselectmultipleswitches,clickonandholdtheShiftkey(forcontiguousswitches)or
Control(fornoncontiguousswitches)whileclickingontheswitches.
4. IntheTaskListpanelintheLocalChangesgroup,clickScheduleDeploy.TheSchedule
Deploydialogboxappears.
5. Editthestartdateandtime.(Thedateandtimearebasedonthedateandtimeonthemachine
whereRASMservicesisinstalled.)
6. ClickOK.
Verifying the Deployment
Toverifythedeployment:
1. LeavetheDevicestoolbaroptionselected.
2. LookintheDeployStatuscolumnfortheswitch(es)towhichyoudeployedconfiguration
information.ThestatusshouldbeDeployCompleted.
Youalsocanverifysuccessfuldeploymentbycheckingtheoperationlog.
Accessing the Log
Toaccess thelog:
1. SelecttheDevicestoolbaroption.
2. AtthebottomoftheTaskListpanel,selectDeviceOperations.
3. IntheTaskListpanel,selectViewOperationLog.
Notes: You can click Close at any time after clicking Deploy. The operation continues in the
background. To review the status of the operation, use the operation log. (Select View Operation
Log.)
